Reverse engineering an Apple Peeler.
To reverse engineer the apple peeler, we first selected a product and purchased it. We opted for a clamp-on peeler since its components were all mechanical and could be replicated via 3D printing. After receiving the peeler, we proceeded with the deconstruction process. Although most parts could be dismantled by hand, some pins required drilling. We assigned each of the four group members specific systems to measure, sketch by hand, and model in SolidWorks. I was tasked with modeling the clamp and body assembly.

Product Redesign
In order to enhance the peeler's functionality, we opted to revamp the handle grip. Our redesign involved incorporating ridges along the handle to improve grip and provide a more comfortable peeling experience by allowing the user's hand to firmly interlock with it.
