Impact Austin

Our objective, while collaborating with the Austin Arts Commission (AAC), was to promote and educate people about the art scene in Austin. Through research, we discovered that the population's support for the arts in Austin had declined in the past decade despite the increase in population. To develop our prototype, we conducted interviews with over a dozen creatives, consumers, and residents and collected over a hundred survey responses. Using this data, we devised an impact score that evaluates events in Austin based on sustainability, economic impact, and community involvement. Given the AAC's limited resources, we proposed integrating this scoring system into existing platforms, such as the Austin Studio Tour App, to reduce costs and management time.
